The Worst Gold Diggers Author – On May 10th 2021, I received an email from Pay Pal stating that $881.69 was being transferred to my Pay Pal account from my checking account. This was not requested or initiated by me–so I called customer service. I was told that this was a “manual transaction top-up” that I had initiated and that it couldn’t be stopped before clearing at my bank. Upon calling Pay Pal a second time– I was told “due to a technical error, the automatic top-ups were not being taken from your bank account from 3/3/21-3/17/21. We manually collected the amount from your account once we discovered the error”. I received no notification of THEIR error or the fact that they were going to be pulling ANY mount out of my bank account. CSR told me “you should have received an email 5 days before, telling you about this”. DE I RECEIVED NO SUCH NOTIFICATION. My account is in the negative and has a few overdraft fees due to other pending transactions. I AM BEING PUNISHED FOR THIER MISTAKES.
