The Worst Gold Diggers Author – This man posed as a fitness coach and approached me about coaching. He pressured me into buying “one year of coaching” for $1200. I said I wanted to sleep on it and think about it but he was a smooth talker and put pressure on me and added a discount if I signed up right then and there. I should have looked into his account first and do research before I committed. If anyone is real about coaching you they won’t put pressure on you to sign up in the exact moment. Avery does not have any coaching or nutrition certifications or training. We talked about a lower body targeted training regiment and I wanted to be educated about macros and calorie counting. He sent me what looked like a copy and pasted workout plan with 6/7 days targeting upper body and zero glute focused exercised that I requested. The meal plan was a huge caloric deficit which I said I didn’t want to be in. When I asked what that macros & calories were he refused to tell me. (I’m assuming because he didn’t know) He asked me for check in photos 3 days in a row which seemed quite excessive to me. He got mad at me over silly things on my Instagram account which I’m not sure why a coach would be so involved in my Instagram? Overall I was very unhappy with the programs I received, and felt very uncomfortable overall about this guy. I got a bad feeling from the second I sent him money. (An e-transfer, no contract signed, no written agreement on what the coaching would entail) After looking more into this individual I found he had no business page for coaching, no client testimonials, no reviews, I asked mutual friends from Instagram about him and they all said to watch out for this guy and he’s tried approaching them too. I found an article on the dirty someone wrote about him 3 years ago about scamming people. His Instagram shows 75K followers but individual photos have approximately 50 likes indicating that he has bought his followers to help with the facade of being a coach to get money out of people. I told him 3 days after signing up with him I wanted a refund as I was very unhappy with everything and as I had became aware of his scam. After a very long process and help of social media and my friends, this guy sent back $1000 out of my $1200. Just watch out if this guy approaches you about “coaching” and pressures you into sending him money.
